Panel Construction:
Wood Frame: panels are constructed with either a butt-joint or a tongue & groove wood frame covered on both sides with a metal skin and filled with Class I polyurethane foam. Panel thickness can be either 3-1/2”, 4”, or 5”.
Foam Frame: panels are constructed with a tongue & groove high density foam frame covered on both sides with a metal skin and filled with Class I polyurethane foam. Panel thickness can be either 3-1/2”, 4”, or 5”.
Insulation:
Class I Polyurethane foam
Panel Fasteners:
Panel to panel connection is accomplished using a com-lock device. They are actuated from the inside of the walk-in using a cam wrench (provided with each walk-in). The cam holes are covered with a cap plug that matches the panel finish.
Ceiling to Wall Connection:
The ceiling panels are attached to the top of the wall panels using lag bolts. Cam-locked ceilings are available as an option.
Wall to Floor Connection:
The walls are attached to the floor using a 16 GA metal angle that is attached to the floor. The wall panels are then set on top of the 16 GA angle and fastened with screws.
Panel Finishes:
Panels can be made with a variety of different interior and exterior finishes. The finishes that we have available are:
Stucco embossed galvanized steel (standard)
Stucco embossed white galvanized steel
Stucco embossed aluminum
Stainless steel
Paint loc embossed galvanized steel (suitable for painting)
FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic)
